I purchased my house in East East East Mesa the end of May 2004, these photos are from when I first moved in...

These photos are from around Xmas 2004. In February 2005 I moved out and turned my house into a rental, I moved into a house near the Awhatukee/South Mountain area.

In February 2006 I called the lease and the renters moved out. I immediately had the periwinkle carpets ripped out and replaced with fluffy textured carpet and also had tile put in throughout most of the house. I also had concrete poured on both sides of the house where it floods during any rain. I then had the blue formica countertops removed and had Corian put in. These are the pics of the 1st wave of rennovations.

These photos are of pretty much every room in the house after the flooring and such was redone and the furniture moved in. Photos are from April 2006.

In the summer 2006 I decided I hated having dingy white walls throughout the house. I painted almost every room during the summer. I would paint on the weekends and after work during the week. I also bought new furniture, etc. It just goes to show you that the saying is true, "A female is never satisfied".

So here it is, early to mid 2007. These are the most current photos of the house. There are no pics of the upstairs bathroom even though completed and the pink room, a.k.a. the Marilyn Monroe room is still not completed. I repainted the master bedroom and again, switched out furniture. The cat room has a wallpaper mural that I still have not put up. I am currently working on taking out part of a wall and building an entertainment center in the family room. The kitchen still needs the flat panel tv installed and if you noticed, there is now a walk-in coat closet in the family room which was never there before. I still need to do the crown molding throughout also. Anyways, all of that in due time I guess....

So pretty much finished the "built-in" entertainment center/shelving. Gutted the hollow shelf that divides the front of house to the family room. Built a perfect fitting shelving unit and beveled to make all the edges rounded like the rest of the house. Also had to cut out a part of the column so the tv and speakers would fit width wise. Rewired the electrical so it would fit inside. Below are the pictures of the finished project. Still need to build hand-made shutters for the back so you cannot see the back of the tv and speakers when you walk in...that will be the next project...
